This is 2 of the harder hunts in New Zealand. Both animals locate themselves in the mountains of the Southern Alps​,​ making them the "King of the Mountains". This will be a wilderness hunt camping out in hunting cabins and​/​or tents. Depending on the time of the year it may require a helicopter to get us to where we want to go. The Bull Tahr is the only other animal other than a Lion to have a mane​,​ which makes them very well south after when hunting in NZ.
